As an insatiably curious content maven, I use my editorial and management skills to create compelling stories that resonate and engage. I am known for my leadership and organizational skills, which lets me excel at working with cross-functional teams with humor and grace.
As the Editor-in-Chief of California Lawyer, I led an award-winning publication that covered the burning legal issues of day – everything from marijuana regulation and water rights to teacher tenure and patent litigation. Through the magazine’s digital edition, website and print presence, the publication informed more than 100,000 members of the California bar as well as the general reading public. During my tenure at California Lawyer, the magazine won numerous national and regional awards for long-form journalism and personal stories.
Now I apply my extensive skills in content management, content strategy, marketing, research, writing and editing in my consulting work for clients. Nonprofit organizations, law firms and businesses hire me to write, edit and manage their content and publications and get my expertise on public relations.
I’m based in the San Francisco Bay Area and in my free time I enjoy sewing clothes, making hats, and blogging about my creations at C Sews. I’m also the organizer for the Bay Area Sewists Meetup group.
